The Challenge
New Canadians TV brought me in to help address a bloated WordPress website that had accumulated a large number of plugins, impacting performance and making the site harder to manage. They also needed guidance on how to structure new pages and content across the site's different verticals.
The Approach
I audited the existing WordPress installation and removed unnecessary complexity, reducing the plugin footprint by 80%. I also developed reusable page templates for different content verticals, helped define opportunities for new pages, and created a dedicated video experience for the show's growing library of YouTube content.
After
