The Challenge
The client needed a professional website that could quickly communicate her tutoring services and credibility while serving as a portfolio piece when prospective clients came looking for more information. The existing WordPress site also presented an opportunity to improve performance and create a more modern technical foundation.

I designed a concise, clean digital experience focused on credibility, clarity, and conversion, giving visitors the information they need without unnecessary complexity. I then migrated the website from WordPress to Next.js, improving performance while creating a scalable foundation for future growth.
After
GTA Tutor needed a website that could do two things well: generate inquiries and reinforce the client's credibility when prospective customers were evaluating her services.
Rather than overcomplicating the experience, I focused the design around clear messaging, a streamlined presentation of services, and strong calls to action. The result was a professional digital presence that could function as both a lead-generation tool and an extension of the client's personal brand.
As part of the project, I migrated the website from WordPress to Next.js, replacing the legacy platform with a modern, performance-focused architecture. The migration also created a stronger technical foundation for SEO, speed, and future enhancements.
